Our Story
In 1996 our owners saw a need for a non emergency medical transport service in Scotland County to off set some of the demand on the county's EMS service. They started BRAVEHEART MEDICAL TRANSPORT to do just that. Starting as a basic service they opened Braveheart and began running dialysis transports and discharges from our local hospital. In the following years BRAVEHEART has grown to the company we are now. Though we are not as large as some other Privately owned Ambulance companies in North Carolina and other states, we feel the size and experience of our company allows us to provide a higher quality of care both non emergency and emergency, and we are now able to provide Basic and Advanced Life Support.
